I also have a project to develop a programming language called "Rust" on github at http://github.com/compman775/Rust. My first commit was on 2010-07-02 and yours was on 2010-07-04. Not to be rude, but would it be possible for you to rename your language?

    I apologize for being a bit late publicizing it, but I'm not really keen on changing name, sorry. Too much publicity at this point.

  2. When you click on "Commits" on the bar near the top of the page on github, the first date shown for your project "rust" was July 4th. However, the first date shown on that page for your project "rust-mode" was in June. You had the name on the internet first, and you've been working on it a lot longer than I have been. I won't try to make any more claims to the name. I'll go see about renaming my project to some place holder name until I can come up with something else.
